We Are BLOK HEDS. 

Yorkshire based Graphic Designer with 30+ years industry experience.

​I've always enjoyed doodling caricatures of friends & family as a bit of a hobby. After being made redundant in 2013, I decided to pursue this further experimenting with carving my doodles into off-cuts of wood. These characters seemed to have their own personalities and also looked great together, a bit like a little wooden gang. After positive feedback & requests for prices, I decided to brand up the concept, taking the name from the blocks of wood I worked on, with a nod to Ian Dury and the punk DIY ethic, We Are BLOK HEDS was born.

 

​I work on personal commissions for special celebrations, along with commercial work with companies & organisations, on various corporate projects including graffiti murals, street art, point of sale & graphic design.​

 

My work has gained recognition with the likes of Fred Perry Subculture, Liberty London Open Call & BT amongst others.
